Ludicon is committed to promoting an inclusive and diverse community that celebrates the richness of board games in all their forms. We believe that diversity strengthens our community and enriches the gaming experience for everyone. As such, we are dedicated to creating an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and encouraged to participate.

  • Respect: We expect all participants, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff members to treat each other with dignity, kindness, and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Code of Conduct:

  • Respectful Behavior: Treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect. Be mindful of your words and actions, and avoid any behaviour that may be harmful or offensive to others.

  • Inclusive Language: Respect a language that acknowledges and respects the diversity of our community. Encourage the use of both French and English equally, and ensure that all participants feel comfortable expressing themselves in their chosen language.

  • Consent: Respect personal boundaries and obtain consent before engaging in physical contact or interactions. Be mindful of the comfort levels of others and always prioritize consent.

  • Non-Discrimination: Refrain from any discrimination or harassment based on language, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or any other characteristic. Discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Reporting Procedures: If you witness or experience harassment, discrimination, or any other form of misconduct, please report it immediately to a convention staff member. We are committed to handling and resolving all reports respectfully.

Enforcement: Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to a warning, expulsion from the convention without a refund, and a ban from future events. Our priority is to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and we will take appropriate measures to uphold these values.
