Prototype Zone – Powered by ProtoFest

We’re thrilled to announce that ProtoFest will be our partner managing the Prototype Zone at Ludicon 2025!

ProtoFest is an annual event that brings together board game creators for a weekend of prototype playtesting — between designers and curious players alike. It’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and game development… and now, they’re bringing that spirit to Ludicon!

Want to showcase your prototype at Ludicon?

Registration period is from September 1st to October 3rd 2025.
2025 Prototype registration

Once the registration period is over, ProtoFest & Ludicon will proceed with the selection process. If your prototype is selected, you will receive an invitation and be allocated a time slot of at least 4 hours.

Important Note:

All prototypers must purchase a pass to access the convention floor and Prototype Zone.
