Essential answers to help you prepare your booking.
What are the departure and arrival times at Cape Liberty?
The ship is scheduled to depart on Friday, May 28 at 3:00 p.m. and arrive on June 4 at 6:00 a.m.
Is there a hotel near Cape Liberty for the Ludicon group?
We have not yet reached an agreement with a hotel. Depending on demand, we may reserve a room block at a nearby hotel. This is a strong possibility, and more information will be provided later.
Where does the ship depart from?
Embarkation and disembarkation take place at Cape Liberty in the New York area.
What transportation options are available to reach the Cape Liberty cruise port?
We will survey cruise group members around December. Depending on the survey responses, we may organize coach transportation and/or carpooling. You may also book your own flights.
Is this Ludicon’s first cruise event?
Yes, this will be our first Ludicon Cruise experience. We have therefore hired three travel advisors, each with more than 15 years of experience, to look after our group. They have supported many wedding, cruise and southern-destination groups. We are in good hands.
Can I request another stateroom type, such as an ocean-view stateroom or a balcony?
Our group inventory includes interior staterooms only. Upon request, we can provide a quote for another type of stateroom.
Can three or four passengers share the same stateroom?
No. The interior staterooms in this group can accommodate only two passengers per stateroom. Upon request, we can provide a quote for another stateroom type that can accommodate more than two people.
What is included in the cruise?
The cruise includes taxes and meals. For example, the main dining room offers a full hot breakfast and a multi-course dinner in the evening. The ship’s buffet also offers plenty of choice and is ideal for a quick lunch or a relaxed meal.
What is excluded from the cruise fare?
Excursions offered by the ship or at the destinations, stateroom gratuities and beverages are not included.
How can I secure my stateroom?
Contact our travel advisor at caroledicaire@gmail.com. A deposit of $265 per person will be required. Full and final payment for the cruise must be made before February 5, 2027.
Is the group departure guaranteed?
Barring extraordinary circumstances, a minimum of two accompanying guides will be aboard the ship, regardless of the number of people in the group. We will adjust onboard room reservations and the number of games in the library based on the number of passengers.
Will there be an information session?
We will schedule an information session in December or January for those who have paid a deposit. During this session, we will provide guidance on final payment instructions, what to pack and more. We will also be happy to answer your questions.
